Description & Operating Principle
HMEC’s Automatic Rotary Gripper Type Bottle Washing Machine is specifically designed to meet the rigorous hygienic standards of pharmaceutical, biotech, cosmetic, and food & beverage packaging. Operating on continuous rotary motion, containers are gently transferred from the infeed conveyor via an infeed starwheel into precision-engineered polyurethane/SS 316 gripper assemblies.
As the carousel rotates, the grippers securely hold the bottles by their neck and invert them a full 180 degrees over specialized stationary or diving spray nozzles. In this inverted position, bottles undergo a series of intensive washing cycles (recirculated water, hot purified water, fresh WFI, and HEPA filtered compressed air) with gravity assisting in complete, instantaneous drainage. Once the washing sequence is completed, the bottles are inverted back to their upright position and smoothly transferred to the discharge conveyor via the outfeed starwheel.
