Description & Operating Principle
HMEC’s Automatic Blister Cartoning Machines are designed specifically for pharmaceutical blister packaging lines. The machine connects directly to the discharge conveyor of primary blister packing machines (ALU-PVC or ALU-ALU). Individual cut blister strips are counted, stacked into programmed quantities (from 1 to 10 blisters per stack), and seamlessly transferred into the cartoner's conveyor buckets.
Simultaneously, the machine erects cartons via vacuum suction from a high-capacity magazine, folds instructional leaflets from flat sheets or pre-folded rolls using an integrated GUK leaflet folder, and wraps the leaflet around the blister stack. A servo pusher inserts the blister-and-leaflet bundle into the carton. The carton ends are tucked in or glued, embossed with batch and expiry details, scanned by vision cameras, and non-compliant cartons are automatically rejected.

How does the machine link to my existing blister packaging machine?
The cartoner connects via an intelligent link conveyor that receives blister strips directly from the blister machine's cutter. Optical sensors monitor line speed and automatically adjust cartoner speed or buffer blister strips during momentary line pauses.
Can the machine handle multiple blister stacks per box (e.g. 3 strips of 10 tablets)?
Yes, the servo-driven stacking magazine can be set on the HMI touchscreen to stack 1, 2, 3, 5, or 10 blister strips per carton. The pusher will only cycle once the exact stack count is reached.
