Description & Operating Principle
HMEC Automatic Wet Glue Labeling Machines are engineered for high-volume, cost-effective bottle decoration using standard pre-cut paper labels and water-soluble cold adhesives (dextrin, synthetic resin, or starch-based glues). Built with heavy-duty mechanical cams and precision brass glue rollers, this machine offers exceptional operating economy for distilleries, breweries, pharmaceutical syrup lines, and canning plants.
Bottles travel down the conveyor and are spaced by an infeed worm screw before being held securely between top hold-down heads and revolving base pads. A rotating glue roller applies a micro-thin, uniform layer of cold adhesive onto oscillating rubber glue fingers (pallets). The glued finger swings into the stationary label magazine, pulling a single pre-cut paper label by adhesive tack. The label is then transferred to a vacuum-assisted rotating transfer drum or directly wiped onto the bottle body. As the bottle rotates against a concave sponge wiping pad, the paper label is pressed completely flat, free of blisters or excess glue squeeze-out.
